The Girls...

Today we went to see Happy Feet... I suggest you pass... the girls on the other hand may not. We went back to their house and hung out. Of course ended up with the tickle time. There is nothing better than listening to them both laugh so hard they can barely breathe. They also made their Santa lists today. I'm pretty sure Santa will be good to them this year.

Morgan also sang this past week in her 3rd grade concert and apparently her music teacher said they did an outstanding job. Faith was also named student of the month and will get pizza! Oh... to be young again.

Back-up Husband's

So today, Neil, one of my good friends, is getting married. He was my first back-up husband... and he is getting married... don't people know they can't get married when they are the back-up?? ha... it's kind of like my best friends wedding... but I'm not that psychotic! So... instead I wish him and Lisa all the very best and I hope that she realizes what an incredibly lucky woman she is.

So.. I think I'm going to go get a pedicure now...............................

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today was a great day and I have so much to be thankful for. I'm thankful first and foremost for my parents. I am thankful for my friends and my family. I am thankful for this path that God has put me on. For the good and the bad I have faced in my life. Without the challenges I have overcome, I would not be the person whom I am today. I've learned to live everyday as if tomorrow may never come. I don't always do that and it is ok. I figure it could be worse, I could not understand the concept.

Above are a couple cute photos of my cousin's kids. Nik, Monique, Haley, and Anthony. Zack was home sick with the flu. They are so much fun and we are a very blessed family to have such wonderful little people in our lives.

I hope that you all had a wonderful day and enjoyed your family, that there was only happiness and a day full of memories. God Bless to all of you... and remember those who are serving overseas and unable to spend time with their family this year. Keep them in your prayers!

Veteran's Day

We went to the Veteran's Day parade in downtown Mesa this morning. Morgan, Faith, Stac, my mom and I. It was a good parade. There was a high school group that came through the parade with a tribute to those who had lost their lives in Operation Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. That was the most memorable part of the parade.
The girls thought the 2 horses and the candy was the best though! I went to take pictures but my camera batteries had died. I was reading an article about remembering Veteran's day and it just makes you stop and think. Here is part of the article, hopefully it will make you stop and thank a Vet or send a letter to a soldier thanking them for what they do. The photo is one I took in San Antonio over Memorial Weekend.

"Veterans serve when they feel like it and when they don’t. They serve when they understand the mission and they serve when they just don’t get it. Every day, they lay down their Isaacs – all the things they don’t want to sacrifice the most, including their families, their comforts and their safety – because they want to follow the mission and serve well. Whether that call is from the president, the military or from God himself, they follow that voice and they serve because they believe so much in what they do and what they have." At the Park

Here are just some random photos of the girls. They spent the night at my house on Friday night (Nov. 3) and we had "truth or dare" time and tickle time. You will be happy to know that neither of them have never kissed a boy! We ran some errands the next morning, had breakfast, and then went to the park. The girls played and I tried to get some reading done for school. That's about it for now.
